Principal & Executive Strategist
Andy has served as a successful development and educational leader and/or consultant for fifteen years. He is passionate about helping organizations grow into their vision through greater engagement and commitment from donors. Andy has experience and gifting in capital campaign leadership, major donor relationships, annual fund development, financial management, strategic planning, and leadership development.
Andy graduated from Grand Canyon University with a B.S. in Finance. He also earned an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from George Fox University. Prior to his consulting work, Andy served as the President of Westside Christian High School in Tigard, Oregon. During his tenure there he served a team of over thirty staff, led a capital campaign, and directed a strategic initiative to develop a new school campus. Prior to starting Contour Strategies Andy was the Chief Consulting Officer for a national nonprofit consulting firm. Andy has served on the board of Northwest Christian Community Foundation and currently plays an instrumental role on the board of Grace Ministries in Northeast Thailand.
Bill has always had a keen passion for helping non-profit organizations craft successful fundraising campaigns, and throughout his career has served alongside many non-profit executives as they strive to fund their vision. He is widely respected for his ability to train executives and advancement teams in effective principles and techniques to engage and mobilize donors while keeping a campaign moving towards its goal.
Bill earned his Master’s degree from Northwestern University and his Ed.D. in Educational Administration from Columbia University. He has partnered with numerous non-profits over the years, including serving as a Chief Development Officer for Young Life and fundraising consultant for such organizations as InterVarsity, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, The Stony Brook School, and YWAM.
Colorado Springs, Colorado
Steve finds great joy in helping to strengthen non-profit effectiveness and encourage leaders in their assignments. These priorities have emerged through his roles as Chief Financial Officer, Administrative Vice President, and Chief Development Officer. Steve describes the first half of his career as stewarding non-profit resources and the second half as mobilizing crucial financial resources to advance non-profit vision. In direct leadership and consulting roles Steve has appreciated serving dozens of remarkable non-profits focused locally and globally. He has helped coach their leaders and staff, clarified vision and strategy, engaged board members and donor partners in regard to their charitable vision, raised major gifts for strategic programs, inspired partnership through donor weekends, and expanded grant development and gift and estate design services.
Steve, Lynn, and their family are Colorado residents. He is a Communications undergraduate of Wheaton College, an MS in Business graduate of Colorado State University, and graduate of the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Institute.
Grant Writing Associate & Project Manager
Lou is a passionate relationship-builder with a diversity of experience in non-profit development. She possesses the ability to link passion and purpose through philanthropy by building rapport with individuals, corporations, and foundations. Lou brings nine years of non-profit and fundraising experience to the Contour Strategies team through her knowledge of legacy giving, annual fund, major gifts, grant and proposal writing, operations management, and event planning and execution. Lou has raised over $10 million in current philanthropic gifts to support programming and has helped multiple organizations launch major and planned gift programs. She was the Vice President of Philanthropy and Director of Planned Giving with Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming for 5 years where she was a 2018 national finalist for Resource Development Professional of the Year.
A Texas native, Lou recently returned to Austin, Texas to raise her three daughters, alongside her husband Allen. She serves as the Executive Director for the Dripping Springs Education Foundation and is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Communication, with a minor in Sociology.
Sierra Neiman Westbrook
Prior to joining the Contour Strategies team, Sierra served in a variety of roles at Barclay Press: Administrative Assistant, Director of Marketing and Publicity, and Lead Editor. She has also worked as Writing Consultant and Interim Project Manager at George Fox University. Currently, Sierra divides her work time between serving as Executive Assistant for Contour Strategies, teaching as an Adjunct Professor at George Fox University’s College of Christian Studies, and providing spiritual direction through Eden Spiritual Care.
Sierra graduated from George Fox University with a B.A. in Business Administration and from George Fox Evangelical Seminary (now Portland Seminary) with a Master of Divinity degree. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels, hiking, snapping photos, and discovering new restaurants with her husband, Justin.
Executive Assistant & Project Manager
Taylor has always had a heart for nonprofits and passion for serving people well. Her desire to coach people to lean into their strengths and fulfill their goals is what has carried her in the development of her career. Prior to joining the Contour Strategies team, Taylor worked in Student Affairs and Residence Life at the University of Portland. At the University of Portland, Taylor served students, staff and faculty, led student groups and played a key role in the building and forming of community within the university.
Taylor graduated from George Fox University with a B.A. in Organizational Communications with a minor in Youth Ministry. She then went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Portland. In her free time, Taylor enjoys traveling, drinking coffee, hiking, fishing, and writing.
Director of Finance
With 20 years of experience in finance and business management, Carly brings a wealth of knowledge in accounting, organization, and human resources. She loves the challenge of problem solving and working through an issue to find the best mutually beneficial solution.
Carly graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech & Hearing Science, but quickly transitioned to accounting. Prior to joining Contour Strategies, she served in the healthcare industry as a business manager for the past 11 years. She continues to serve part time in this capacity, providing financial management and human resource services.
In her spare time, Carly is game for boating with her husband and two children, walking her Labradoodle, and staying active around her home city of Portland.
